  1. JUSTIN;
    GREAT SKETCHES OF THESE GALAXYS, IT IS AMAZING WITH THE MOON AT ALMOST THREE QUARTER FULL YOU WHERE ABLE TO RESOLVE SOME OF THE FINE DETAIL. I COMPARED YOUR M-63 SKETCH TO A PHOTO OF THAT OBJECT IN MY PETERSON FIELD GUIDE BOOK AND THE RESEMBLANCE IS REMARKABLE,
    GOOD JOB.. YOU MUST HAVE BEEN UP LATE TO SKETCH THE M-104 AND 4565 BOTH OF THEM ARE AMONG MY FAVORITES. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SUMMER WHEN THE NIGHTS ARE WARMER. HOPE TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME
    CHECKING OUT THESE GALAXYS IN DETAIL.
    GRANDPA
    CLEAR SKYS…..

  2. Hey Grandpa, when I sketched these, the moon was still around 1st Quarter or so, it wasn’t a problem, and I waited until it was so low that it didn’t affect the views. It was spectacular! You can see the date and time in the information box on the sketching sheet.
